CAMERON — The College Station girls and boys powerlifting teams won their respective divisions Saturday at the Cameron Yoe Invitational.

Six Lady Cougars won individual weight classes to help College Station win the team title with 53 points. Leah Sanchez (114 pounds), Maddi Arseneaux (148), Julia McGinnis (165), Katie Lollar (181), Suba Johnson (198) and Ellie Hair (220) took first in their classes, while teammates Camryn Riggins (97) finished second; Hope Spivey (97), Afrin Momin (148) and Maria Castillio (165) finished fourth; and Charli Tumlinson (132) finished sixth.

On the boys side, College Station’s 181 Nathan Ellard (181), Will Efendiev (220) and Jordan Seymore (super heavyweight) won their classes to help the Cougars score 30 points. Also for the Cougars, Isaiah Reza (114) took second, Austin Ham (198) third and Ian Wooley (242) fifth.
